The show combines an intense, Latin styled, up-tempo soundtrack with death defying contemporary circus acts – a combination that makes it both a family circus show and an extra special music gig!
Infectious energy – the artists are not ‘playing’ on stage, they live, breath and sweat on it.
Fast-paced dance, live vocal performances and awe-inspiring feats of strength, grace and ability all combine to promise one full-on, fantastic night out for people to enjoy, as 13 performers sing, rap and dance their way through a show that links jaw-dropping circus acts with flawless musical performances to accompany each stunt.
Fresh from appearances in Amsterdam and the National Theatre in Helsinki, the company come to Staffordshire for their next stop of their current European tour. Stopping off at Clough Hall Park in Kidsgrove for one weekend only.

ABOUT Circolombia and Acelere
Mixing spectacular circus skills with dance and music, Circolombia have dazzled the global contemporary circus. Acelere is inspired by Colombia’s diverse communities and features 14 of the most talented performers from across Colombia.
All of the performers were trained at Colombia’s National School of Circo Para Todos (“Circus For All”), a school that supports vulnerable and at risk people by offering them the chance to learn new skills and eventually become a professional circus performer.
The model of Circolombia is one worth exploring in detail because it specifically aims to engage “disadvantaged” young people in professional training so that they can have careers in circus. The majority of social circus programs around the world tend to focus on the life skills that participants develop through circus, not on the creation of professional performers.
The Circolombia model involves two distinct organizations: Circo Para Todos (Circus for All), an educational institution based in Cali, Colombia, and Circolombia, a production company based in Europe. The two are directly linked via a clear trajectory to bring students through Circo Para Todos and into Circolombia for professional work.
