Supported by the Andrew Lloyd Webber Foundation, young people from Staffordshire have been working together to create High Flyers<\/em> \u2013 a brand new musical about the highs and lows of growing up in the modern age.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The participants aged between 10 \u2013 25 were invited to work with the award-winning Borderlines<\/em><\/strong> department of New Vic Theatre<\/strong> to create the brand new musical.<\/p>\n

What does it mean to be a \u2018high flyer\u2019 today? Can everyone truly be successful? At what cost is success achieved? And what does the world look like for those who fear they may be left behind?<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
<\/p>\n
Developed, performed and with a script written by the cast of local young people, this production explores what impact younger, growing voices have on the world and questions who, if anyone, is really listening?<\/p>\n
The new musical exposes the highs (and lows) of growing up in the modern age.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The culmination of the work will be performed at the New Vic Theatre<\/strong> on Tues 16 July at 4pm and 7:30pm.<\/p>\n

You\u2019re invited to go along and support the young people, many of who have never been involved in theatre before \u2013 and you decide how much you pay!<\/p>\n
This is a great opportunity to enjoy a new piece of work, created by members of your local community and support them as they take to a stage for the first time \u2013 and your ticket price is completely decided by you!<\/p>\n
